So this is my mental blowout.i couldnt decide what i wanted to post so im posting it all.

I love music.all music.anybody that knows me can tell you that.i hate it for those artists that are really good but get no airtime.its hard already for them to sing for a crap load of people but trying to get their music heard? thats a extreme task in itself. so here i am to promote those artists that many people have not heard about.first there is the group RichGirl. idk if anybody has heard of them but those are some bad girls!their song He Ain't Wit Me Now is my jam! and for this to be their first video they did a great job! i hate it when people put out their first video and it be all cheap looking....major UGH! but who ever put this group together.great job. keep up the good work ladies!

the second artist im going to mention is a friend of mine! his name is Marcus Saafir. he is one of the few singing dancing cuties this earth has.lol.now im not just putting him on my blog because i know him.i genuinely like his music.not to mention his voice is great.and he isnt hard to look at either.lol he is one of the tons of undiscovered people but he will make it big.if not on his own i will help him out when i blow up :]. you heard it here first people.

i am the bargain queen! i love those little boutiques that nobody knows about but have the cutest items! i live for that kind of stuff. not only that but i live for those websites that sell cute and original things too. one of my favorites is (http://www.karmaloop.com).

one of the reasons i absolutely love college is because there is so many different types of people here that wear all sorts of clothes.they have combinations that i have yet to think about! this next website broadens my view. it shows different young people and what they are wearing. now before you go judging it its not your regular website. these people are so creative with their clothes its crazy! i admired them for their looks and thank them for their inspiration.(http://lookbook.nu)

another site i love is (http://www.gojane.com) they have really cute shoes! sometimes their stuff is hit or miss but for the most part its really cute.

one store that will never let me know for as long as i walk this earth is H&M (http://www.hm.com) this store is my favorite of all times! it is so amazing.it has a very wide range of clothing and it is reasonably price which is always a plus. its hard to explain just go check it out. an in-store view is so much better. when you walk in the glory speaks for itself.

i was on a fellow blogger's page (http://www.dapperdakon.com) when i noticed this topic called light graffiti.now we all now light graffiti from those Sprint commericals but i had never seen it outside of that.and when i did it was instant love.the detail that went into the pictures that was on dapper dakon's page made my heart melt.

A few weeks ago i went into this health foods store with my mother and i came across a bottle of wine.now this bottle of wine was just like any other except that the bottle itself so was pretty! it was hand-painted.literally. see for yourself.

well my brain hurts and i still have to study so good night sweet people.

This "Music"...On To Da Next One

so last night after i finished writing my last post i was talking to my friend Khiry (:D) and we started talking about celebs and who we had met. Nicki Minaj and Waka Flocka Flame came up and i felt my blood change directions. to start i hate Waka Flocka. honestly. i think he is a supreme epic fail. i mean he is probably a nice guy and all but his music is the fail of the century. first off what kind of name is Waka Flocka? seriously? and second his music is irrelevant. who cares seriously? gangsta rap was out how long ago? ugh maybe its a matter of personal preference but he is just a fail to me!! What happened to rap that had some kind of substance? This new age stuff is killing me.with the coming of some "new" artists such as Drake, Wale, Cudi, J.Cole, Cool Kids, Kidz In The Hall who were known and loved for ages by college students. they are trying to push hip hop back into a category that is respectable.there needs to be a clear definition of the difference between rap and hip hop. In my universe rap is the scum of life.pointless and not needed.it brings shame on the black community. Hip Hop is something that black people can be proud of.something that can have pride in it.something to claim as our own and not be ashamed. Hip Hop of the 80s and 90s was Dougie Fresh and The Get Fresh Crew, Slick Rick, Kurtis Blow Fab 5 Freddy, Run-DMC.Hip Hop of 2009 is Common, Drake, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Wale and everybody else that falls into that category.Waka Flocka and his group of fails i.e. Gucci, Waka Flocka, So Icey, soulja boy and all those people can go back to that little underground hood station they can from. Now Nicki Minaj is a whole other topic.to be honest i like her i do. i support females rappers because its just something new.but thats all she is to me is a female rapper.let me repeat RAPPER. now if she approached the game differently as a female hip hop artist then i might have more respect for her but i dont especially with her taking pictures with everything exposed. there is a such thing as tasteful nudity but tasteless doesnt begin to cover it for her. its funny to me because she has all these young girls that look up to her talking about barbie this minaj that lewinsky another half of them dont even know what minaj means on top of that people are always complaining about how girls these days are too fast or are too grown or trying to be something that they are not when you glamorize how nicki minaj carries herself then what do you expect. now i realized that i probably have some serious minaj fans reading this and please understand i am not bashing nicki minaj i am simply suggesting she be a better role model for the black community and its young black girls because she has their attention like no other. on the music tip good job nicki i like it.just put on some clothes next time please :)

WHO THE EFF DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?

so today had to one of the worst days. i was eating with one of the roomies and these boys started picking on this crippled boy bc he trip and spilled some of his drink near them.really sirs?? WHO THE EFF DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? grow up leave that boy alone!!!!!ugh i was sssooooo pissed and i felt bad for the boy he looked so sad and nervous :( but before that my french exam went horribly wrong and a chemistry lab exam that didnt get much better. this exam and also my chemistry lecture made me realize.what in the hell was i thinking trying to be a doctor? really meems.you really gonna go do some foolishness like that? the idea of being a doctor is cool and all but i cant do that! im not cut out for it.mentally or emotionally.so ive decided to change majors and go into communications and studio art. do something cool. if i could live my life taking pictures and eating cold chinese food i would bc it means im happy. the cold chinese food is a bit much but you get the point. in my mid-college-life(MCL) crisis i got all cutesy just because and ended up going absolutely no where...smh but its ok. also while i was going thru my MCL crisis i realized the full extent of what i want this blog to be.thanks to a great friend (jgraphic4 follow him on twitter) im going with a colorful view of the universe thru my eyes. my universe consists of music fashion art and my life which is a story in it self.lol with my daily drama alone you will never be bored.

So since this a blog about my universe lets hop to it then:

so as some of you know Chris Brown's album Graffiti came out on Dec. 8th and unfortunately being a college kid is the same as saying one broke ass girl.which means i have yet to pick it up.but where money comes short.friends and youtube comes in handy but as a disclaimer i did not download it! im definitely going to buy it as soon as i get some cash but i digress.his album is out and some major stores have the nerve to blackball his album.meaning they are holding it in the back and are refusing to sell it!! WHO THE EFF DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? last time i checked your job is to sell the music the people want.not to question the actions of the music of the people you are selling GET A LIFE!!!! smh.bitches. i wish people would get over themselves.YES the man made a mistake but 1. everybody does so deal with it 2.he paid his debt to society so why are you still trying to bring this man down??? let him rebuild his life so he can move on and you should too!!!!!! ugh the nerve of some people.get off my boo's nuts!!! let the man breathe damn!!!! on a happier note if you have not gone to get his album please do because i heard it all and i love it.so go pick it up and if the store does not have it CALL THEM OUT!! then go to a store that does have it and buy it :)

well my loves it 4:30 in the morning and its time for bed.i have to clean the suite before the roomies get mad at me.lol

Fresh off the Blog

it is currently 8:42pm and i am writing my first blog post with Sean Paul playing in the background (old right? lol) im so excited because this is my first blog ever. i had always wanted a blog but 1. i honestly didnt know what the hell a blog was to start with. im sitting around like WTF??? & 2. this amazingly awesome boy i met on Twitter had a BEAUTIFUL blog and it inspired me to a point beyond reason but i won't call him out(clears throat Dapper DAKON) lol. but as a "fresh blogger" i am going to have to learn the tricks of the trade. but before we get into all that let me tell you a little bit about your blogger. the name's meems. im your "normal" college student but be careful of what you define as "normal" because i may not fit the mold lmao. My expectations for this blog is simple. DON'T THINK, JUST DO. whatever i feel im going to put up. if i see something amazing or absolutely hysterical then im going to share, no need to be selfish right? this is my space that im sharing with the world and i will not censored myself so if you dont like anything i have to say please just press that little red button in the right hand corner (left hand for my mac users lol). well there isnt much more to say. i've been up for 30 hours straight & im damn tired
